This way you can ensure your hair - and hair extensions - remain purely beautiful. Avocado Deep Hair Conditioner Let's start with a deep hair conditioner, to add that softness and shine to your hair. It is really easy to make, with only two ingredients! Ingredients: 1 avocado Organic coconut milk Instructions: Peel and pit the avocado Mash the avocado while you gradually add the coconut milk Once it reaches a smooth consistency, like conditioner, work through your hair, right to the ends. Rinse after 15 minutes and shampoo, as normal. Shampoo - wash your hair, naturally. We will start with a basic shampoo recipe, first, however you can always add your own oils/scents. It is always a good idea to start basic. Now, I hope you have distilled water, or a dehumidifier! Ingredients: A� cup distilled water A� cup liquid Castile Soap (or you can always try lemon) A� teaspoon jojoba, grapeseed, or other light vegetable oil Instructions: Mix together all of the ingredients Store in a bottle Shake well before use Lather up! Just something to note, you will need to carefully pour the amount over your head, as this recipe is not as thick as commercial shampoos. Adding Flavour If you have a particular purpose for your shampoo, you may like to change things up a bit and add some extras. For instance, to put some shine into your hair, follow the same as above; just take note of the following: Use 2 tsp jojoba oil instead of A� teaspoon Add 1/8 tsp peppermint essence oil Add 1/8 tsp tea tree essence oil Be sure not to forget the distilled water and Castile Soap! Instructions: Mix all ingredients, except for the distilled water Add the A� of distilled water Store in a bottle Lather up! You can use as you would any shampoo - rinse well! Or another purpose could be to rejuvenate your hair - here's a recipe for that one. A little more longwinded than it's predecessors. First with the usual culprits. Ingredients: 1/4cup distilled water 1/4cup liquid Castile Soap 1/2teaspoon jojoba, grape seed, or other light vegetable oil 3 tbsp rosemary 1 tbsp lemongrass 2 tsp tea tree oil 1/2tsp vanilla extract Instructions: Boil distilled water Add rosemary and lemongrass (in a tea strainer if you have it) Leave submerged until fragrant has been released enough (takes about 20-30 minutes) Strain leaves and let cool. Combine all ingredients and add to water. Stir well. Mix the tea tree oil and vanilla into the water. Add the soap. Store in a bottle. Use as you would any shampoo. Remember to rinse well. Let the shampoo cool, and then place the top on tightly. Organic Conditioner As with shampoo, you are free to play with different ingredients for your homemade conditioner. This means you can go (almost) crazy with the various essential and fragrance oils available to you. Now, one of the most common bases for conditioner is plain organic yogurt. This is great, so long as you only keep it for a few days and refrigerated. This recipe is only meant for one or two applications. Looking to strengthen? Try mixing: 1. 1/2 tablespoon of organic plain yogurt 2. 1 egg yolk 3. Zest of 2 lemons Looking to create texture? Try mixing: 1. 1/2 tablespoon of organic plain yogurt 2. 1 egg yolk 3. 1 smashed avocado Looking to control dandruff? Try mixing: 1. 1/2 tablespoon of organic plain yogurt 2. 1/4 cup Coconut oil 3. 3 tablespoons of Lime juice Looking for some extra moisturising? Try this: 1. 1/2 cup organic plain yogurt 2. 1 smashed banana 3. 1/2 cup honey Leave the mixture for around 40 minutes. This recipe would be great to do once a week. Natural recipes and your hair extensions These recipes are totally safe to use on your hair extensions, in fact they are better than most commercial alternatives out there. One more thing, remember these methods are only effective on your 100% human hair extensions. If you have synthetic, they are not going to work for you.
